These Community Guidelines outline the standards of conduct expected from our users to ensure a positive experience for everyone. By using the Crush and Hug app (“App”), operated by Areksoft Technologies Private Limited (“we,” “us”), you agree to adhere to these guidelines and our Terms of Service. We are committed to preventing harassment and ensuring the safety of every user.
1. Respect and Courtesy
- 1.1. Treat all users with respect, kindness, and empathy, fostering a welcoming community.
- 1.2. Avoid using offensive, abusive, or hateful language, including slurs or derogatory remarks.
- 1.3. Refrain from any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic, per IPC Section 153A (promoting enmity) and Section 509 (insulting modesty).
- 1.4. Unsolicited comments, messages, or advances that make others uncomfortable are strictly prohibited.
2. Authenticity
- 2.1. Use your real identity, including accurate profile information and photos, to build trust within the community.
- 2.2. Do not impersonate others or create fake profiles, per IPC Section 419 (impersonation).
- 2.3. Misrepresentation, deceptive practices, or catfishing are strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate bans.
3. Safety and Privacy
- 3.1. Do not share sensitive personal information (e.g., financial details, home address, passwords) on the App or with other users, per IT Act Section 66E (privacy violation).
- 3.2. Report any suspicious behavior, profiles, or threats to our support team immediately via support@areksoft.com or the in-app reporting tool.
- 3.3. Refrain from requesting, coercing, or pressuring others for personal, financial, or intimate information—this includes unsolicited requests for photos or videos.
- 3.4. Protect your safety: meet in public places, inform a trusted person of plans, and avoid sharing live location data unless necessary.
- 3.5. We prohibit any form of stalking or tracking, online or offline, per IPC Section 354D (stalking).
4. Prohibited Content
- 4.1. Do not post, share, or display:
- Nudity, sexually explicit content, or pornography, per IT Act Sections 67 and 67A.
- Violent, graphic, or harmful material, including self-harm or suicide promotion.
- Hate speech, offensive symbols, or content inciting violence, per IPC Section 295A (outraging religious feelings).
- Misinformation, fake news, or content that misleads or harms the community.
- Illegal activities or content violating Indian laws, including Telangana State regulations.
- Content involving minors, per POCSO Act Section 14 (use of children in content).
- 4.2. Any content violating the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000, the DPDP Act, 2023, or other applicable laws is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities if required.
5. Fair Use of the Platform
- 5.1. Avoid spamming, phishing, or sending unsolicited promotional messages, per IT Act Section 66A (offensive messages, if reinterpreted).
- 5.2. Do not exploit the App for commercial purposes (e.g., selling goods/services) without prior written approval from Areksoft Technologies Private Limited.
- 5.3. Respect the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted material and trademarks, per Copyright Act, 1957.
6. Interactions and Behavior
- 6.1. Consent is paramount—ensure mutual agreement for all interactions, including messages, photo exchanges, or meetups.
- 6.2. Refrain from pressuring, manipulating, or coercing others into activities, decisions, or sharing content they’re uncomfortable with.
- 6.3. Respect users’ boundaries and preferences—stop communication if requested, per IPC Section 503 (criminal intimidation).
- 6.4. Do not use the App to solicit illegal or unethical acts, including prostitution or exploitation, per IPC Section 370 (trafficking).
7. Enforcement and Reporting
- 7.1. Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account bans, at our sole discretion.
- 7.2. Serious offenses (e.g., harassment, illegal content, minors’ involvement) will lead to immediate bans and reporting to law enforcement, per IT Act Section 67B and POCSO Act Section 20.
- 7.3. Users can report inappropriate behavior, harassment, or content through the in-app reporting tool or by contacting support@areksoft.com. We prioritize user safety and respond promptly.
- 7.4. All reports will be reviewed confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken in line with our policies and applicable laws.
- 7.5. Users banned for violations may appeal via support@areksoft.com, but reinstatement is not guaranteed.
8. Updates to Community Guidelines
- 8.1. These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect evolving standards, user feedback, and legal requirements, including the DPDP Act, 2023.
- 8.2. Users will be notified of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
